LBC, here's a pic and a little info on Critical Defense

A soft polymer insert prevents the hollowpoint cavity from being clogged with fibers and other materials, which can inhibit reliable bullet expansion.

I fired one into 2 milk jugs filled with water. It demolished the first jug and busted open the second one. The bullet was still inside the 2nd jug, perfectly mushroomed.

thanks

good to know,i just picked up a box of these for my .25 Beretta yesterday, the name didn't ring a bell but the box jarred my foggy brain some. After seeing those photos i am a bit impressed,of course with my .25 Beretta if some one hurts my feelings they are still getting the entire magazine full.

edit, just checked the box in my truck and they are Hornady XTP 35gr.,not critical defense

Good I didn't, price has gone up a bunch and mine is near like new condition.
I carried my 1908 Colt hammerless .380 until some scumbag stole it from my apt in Oakland, Ca. While I was deployed to Fallon, Nv.
The assholes nicked my MK1 Ruger too, cops found it wrapped in a wet towel, it was a seriously rusted gun by the time it came back to me but no Colt. Colt had been my G-Mother's gun.

Yep, 5 rounds of .25 can seriously hurt/kill people. I read about a man that was shot in the head with a .25, the bullet went in the side front stayed between the skin and skull, traveled around to the back and exited. Weird. I'd guess that if another round had been fired the poor bastard would have been dead.

I think I still have the original box of Remington .25 ammo, the only box of .25 I ever bought. Probably 15 or 20 rounds left in it.

Superman outfit.Wheni was in the hospital once i had a young black kid roll up to me in his wheelchair and say" igot shot 3 times with a .40,what do you think about that"

I said" i think the shooter had lousy aim"

he left me alone after that.

instead of braggin'
Some people never learn, they die stupid, that's why I practice so much, I don't want to be the one that dies stupid or not. LOL!

Your Hornady XTP 35gr should do what the Critical Defense does but I don't think they have the nose plug.

no nose plug

but it says 900FPS out the muzzle,800 something @ 50 yds,low muzzle velocity allows the expansion to occur quicker, just ask the Armadillo.
