Finger on the trigger. Not makin excuses but the gun is not loaded and is pointing at the back door which leads outside to a wooded area wth a steep ass hill. That is all.
People get awfully wrapped aound the axle with that stuff. Is that a knife in your other hand?
Just added it for flavor to the pic. I dont ever hold a knife while shooting if thats what ya are concerned about.
I think it's a great idea. At least with a knife in your hand, you are prepared for WHEN your 1911 fails. HAH HAH HAH!!!
I dont see my 1911 failing in the immeadiate future. But I have heard the phrase "A knife is more useful than a pistol at close range" Whether its true I wont swear to it.
shooting, your gun will fail. The vast majority of the malfunctions I see at the range are 1911s, whether they're 3,000 dollar race guns shooting powderpuff loads or daily carry guns shooting factory ammo. Your gun is a good start, though. That trigger is going to spoil you.
The knife thing can be true, but I'm not a ninja, so I'd rather have a gun. There are times where the ability to use a knife as a handle or lever to physically move someone can be better than using a gun, where their actions after being shot are unpredictable.
