funny, especially if this is more than just fatherly pride and also a good way to stick it to ebear. Greasy, maybe you kids can give ebear some pointers...like not turning his Sig on it's side while shooting! Great job though, not sure of the circumstances with your daughter, but hers is as good as your son's if not better. We did have a discussion on here on why women should be able to shoot more accurately.

because i am proud of them but after hearing all the talk about posting targets after we all shoot then it looks like we all have some big(little) shoes to fill and I include myself in this.Ebear this is what a target should look like!

No joke, i did a real quick drawing of a couple of targets.. was "hook'n" ya about the one you posted.. one of those... your brain on guns lot (all hits together in the K zone) and your brain on ebear (hits all spread out all over the target).. Cause everybodys been kidding you about the target ya posted.. The thing is i normally dont do that, and it came off sorta harsh.. next thing i know you buggied, and to be honest i was afraid i hurt your feelings.. We kid, and shit were guys.. getting pizzed is what were supposed to do from time to time, but i was afraid i hurt your feelings, and yep.. it was bugging me big time.. guess i screwed up on the pm, cause i don't do them very often.. So for what its worth for any way it was harsh... puplic appology to ya.. Not creep'n cross the sheets, but love you guys..

just agreed to...I could be wrong, but that is what I remember.

Cant remember who did it.. raffy maybe, anyway suggested 15 yds...not a bad distance.. All our dept. quals started at 25 yds, slow stuff, Single action before we went to Glocks.. then move up to 15 where you do a lot of rounds.. then 7 yds.. where you do tactical reloads, and weak hand.. Think this is pretty much standard with most LE, but course of fire changes all the time.. Guessing your troops in Washington do pretty much the same, then discresionary..the shoot dont shoot thing..

Neat thing about 15 yds is its a good distance for off hand.. None of us are gona cheat on the distance but thinking if were gona post that will be doing this taking our time.. I'm sure not going to do any of ming DA..

I qualified expert for almost two decades, shot PPC and bowling pins in the early days.. and here to tell you that i could NOT fire a group that tight at 50 yds OFF HAND, and no optics.. Cool thing is that if she keeps it up we might see her in the Olympics one day..

I am just a Utah hick, never qualified for zip but I know a good group when I see one (or two). greg buddy, time is not on our side and that is the problem, twenty years ago I had better eyes (and I am only 40) I hope to be as good an influence as greasy has been with his kid's, with my kid's, I feel that I owe them that.

are handloads allowed?or do i have to use factory ammo?

handloads have to meet the power factor for your class,just kidding,Iplan on shooting with handguns but might have to switch to the shotty,last resort will be the holy hand grenade.

Your kids are good! After 27+ years on insulin, I can barely tell that there's a target at 50 yards, much less shoot a group. I have to have a scope on a .22 rifle anymore. I could once shoot a handgun pretty well, but now I'm lucky to shoot a 3" group at 15 yards. Oh well, that's life. That's why I have Lasergrips on my S&W Model 49.

That's why one of my house guns is an 18" 12 gauge SxS.
