nice, very nice ride.
Does it got a 396 V8 or 350
I am doing a 66 El Camino now.
That is bad -ass.....I had a 67 r/s with a 396. still miss it
thanks samd my dad has a 67 el camino
Not to much difference in the 66 & 67 mostly trim pieces.
I have an LT1, T-10 Warner Close Ratio, 9" Ford narrowed rear with trick A-Arms off of one of Dale Jarretts super speedway cars. 4 wheel disc brakes, shorter spindles on the front, After market tubular front A Frames, DEI, Inc rear springs and adjustable buckets on rear, with a big NASCAR rear Track Bar.
Aluminum coil overs on the front. Just takes $$$$$$. I hurt my back 1.5 years ago so it is just sitting now. have all the parts just need to get it done.
it is a slow project with my son and dad.i put together a real nice 283 with aluminum world products heads and roller cam for it.my dad put together the turbo 400 with a 2500 stall converter.with the 3.90 10 bolt posi out of a 69 GTO it should be fun to drive.i like the 283 because they like to rev.
post a pic of your work in progress.then take some pain killers and a couple beers and get back to work on it!lol
of my 66 from 4 yrs ago, when I started. A nice straight rust free one.
I had the guy that builds the steering boxes for most of the NASCAR teams build one for me, quick ratio with a Med to Heavy feel to it. New adjustable computer for the EFI. I can tune it from a laptop.
like alot of thought went into your parts and design of suspension.some day i will build something on this scale.with my years of building roundy rounders,i have been in the thick of it.
I put a pontiac 400 Big Block. Got the car for $500 with no motor or trans. Now its got a Trans AM Motor and 4 speed Trans. Only thing it needs now is Bumbers and Tail light assembly. Sorry to say it would SMOKE an El Camino.
You guys are driving me up the wall with this "car talk" I don't know shit from shinola about this, except when I was young, long before Nazereth became a major track, I got to take a stock car around the Nazareth dirt track, and I was hooked. But alas, I never really learned anything about the technical stuff. I do know that most cars have three---er, I mean four wheels/tires, however.
all of your cars would smoke this or that.....but none of them run!!!!! are you part mexican????lololol
All Snake can do is dream.
and his dreams are usually wet
with wet dreams. Snake could screw up a wet dream.
Only thin i got that is SLOW is My Beretta. My dodge will haul ass,my camaro will haul ass. I Gauren damn Tee your El Camino wont touch either my Dodge or My camro. But you can dream just dont dream about my wife.lol
samd has the el camino........but my Infinity fx 35 would blow your doors off. unless your cars are HotWheels then i would just run over them and crush them......lololol
is that true???/
there is no way to prove that you or I can beat each others car. so why argue. Aleast we own Muscle cars in stead of Fiber glass new 2000's models.
done that with the muscle cars. now i get power and comfort all in one shot.cheers
curious what is your actual location, i noticed that you changed it like 4 or 5 times (virginia, texas, arizona, alabama)....
neighbor's 60 something camero against any of yoss guys' rigs...man that thing defines muscle car!!!
Nice car man.....
i have been droolin over this car for awhile. you are a lucky guy. my cousin came home from nam and bought a beautiful camaro (i don't remember the year as i was but a lad) great car for a couple months. he totaled it.
..it was mine and you had my 1994 Chevy Corssica!
now that IS a nice ride that's when a Chevy was a Chevy
Sick ride dude!
Props to you!
That is a nice Camero....
They don't make cars like they used to... The 1960's producted the best cars in my humble honest opinion, and now while comfort and crazy amounts of add ons are plentifull... They are all just cheap plastic and too many wires.
Buddy had a 1969 1/2 327 Z28 and it was seriously fast light to light.
