My Great (x6) Grandfather's rifle

My Great (x6) Grandfather's rifle

He came to America in 1619 to Jamestown. He was killed by Indians in 1644. His name was Dr. John Woodson. The rifle is now in the Virginia State Historical Museum.

Dammit, I just spent five minutes writing a deal about how we're almost related but not quite and you don't accept private messages. Oh well. Long story short, my grandmother is a Hite who are relatives to the James family but because my (X) 3 great grandmother was unfaithful (D.N.A. says so) we just get the name and nothing more except maybe an interesting historical foot note.

I appreciate your story about your American heritage, I enjoy true American history. Thats a great rifle too.
