The fore-end grips...

...are bigger from top-to-bottom on the M4 (oval), than previous AR's. I have big hands, so I am OK with that. For people with smaller hands, especially the gals, this may be something to consider.

Nice piece, I have a Colt too. I just don't see why they want so much for the LE model of rifle. Crazy I guess if you want it and have the money to pay for it then.

I'll tell you...

...what was really Crazy! The Colt Sporter Match Hbar was priced at $2500 at a gunshow I attended a month or so back. That's why I bought the Bushmaster, that day. I thought I would never be able to afford a Colt. The 6920 in 9mm was priced at $2200.

I found this on Gunbroker for $1500 NIB and saw one just like it, NIB, go for $1400. I only paid a few hundred dollars more for the Colt, than I did for the Bushmaster.

Nobody I know wraps their hands around the handguard anyway. Most people either grip the magwell or rest the handguard on their hand anyway.

You are correct...

...runaway. When shooting the feel is not much different. Only when holding or carrying by the fore-end.
