now go hide your money because Reaper308 is spot on.
Now I want a new rifle as well. Just got through playing with a Microtech STG556 with an Eotech and a Ruger piston driven AR-15 using the flip up sights. Both of them fun, fun, fun.
I've been looking at piston uppers also. I've held ruger's, but haven't shot it. Now days Barrett, PWS, ADC, LMT, LWRC, Stag, SIG, S&W, Ruger, Bushmaster, CMMG, HK, POF, DSA, Rock River, and Titan Defense (probably missed a couple) all have piston systems. So many choices, I don't know where to start.

Glad you went with a 20'' barrel. There is alot of guys out there that dont like the 20'' barrels, but I swear by mine.Damn thing is a tack driver and it looks damn near identical to yours but I got the 6 postion stock, quad rail on the front and a Nikon scope with the BDC reticle.

i thought about the whole piston thing but i figure that since i like to take things apart and clean it wont be an issue.i just wanted my AR to look as much like a M16 as much as possible.i watched "we were soldiers"not long ago and liked the look of those originals.i may be getting a original Mattel triangular plastic handguard to go on mine.but i also wanted a flat top in case i get retarded about this thing.the only AR type i have ever fired was a select fire version that i fired during a NVG shoot that my local sheriffs dept did at my gun club and it was an M4 which was cool cause it was select fire but it was too short for my taste.
