nice piece.buy it local or online?I went to Collectors Arms in Houston yesterday.saw a nickel CZ 75 that was nice.I really like the new CZ P 01 Phantom.it is the same as a 75 but with rail and the frame is polymer.gonna have to get one when income tax cash comes in.

through my local Impact guns, special order, I wanted the dual tone in .45 (you can't really tell from the picture)....I looked at a few local gun stores but nobody had exactly what I wanted so I special ordered it, it took about three weeks and it came in yesterday but I had my Daughter's PTC to go to and the Gamo to sight in so I didn't get out to pick it up until tonight........I looked at the Kimbers at the last gun show and they are nice, but not $1200 nice in my book, cut that in half or better and we will talk!

.........RIP....For the record Doc, I don't hate the Hi-point line and I am sure they are great plinking guns (I have a Sig mosquito that is a piece of shit, that fucker will not fire a full mag without a failure)...Anyhoo, my research says that they are hit and miss on quality and I cap on the guns not the owners........unless you are like hank and bet your life on it.......lol

Like you say, Taurus has gotten its act together. I think they have been the most innovative gun manufacturer in the last few years. Yes, Ruger has the LCP and LCR. S&W has the new Bodyguards. But I still think that Taurus has done more new things than anyone recently.

You will love this gun.......My best friend has one, and it's a tack driver! They have a very nice trigger on 'em! Screw Kimber.........I have another friend that bought a Kimber, and has had to send it back twice and still doesn't funtion properly!

Now me and the wife are going to have to have the well honey I need another one because talk. I was just doing a little looking at these online and damn they are a hell of a gun straight out of the box. I like the stainless with the built in rail because it adds to the looks, not because I woukd ever mount any of that bullshit on my pistol.I guess if I need a flash light I will carry the maglite and if their still breathing when I am empty then I will finish them with the flashlight.

very nice pick up....i've shot one and its a very smooth gun....lots of bells and whistles and like it was mentioned before...Kimbers are nice but jam allot.Grease, the Phanthom is an over priced toy....very lite and in my opinion not worthy of the price..600.00+.....Get the xdM INSTEAD....SAME PRICE...WAY BETTER GUN.

I agree. I just found out a few weeks ago that Glocks even come with plastic sights. At least the xd's come with metal. When we were doing the one handed drills and racking the slides on our holsters it F'd up one of the guys Glocks.
