This was one great ride, sure miss it. Of course, I miss all the bikes I've owned :<)
What is that Daisy. What CC we looking at here.. Beautiful for sure.. the whole package works, i like that windscreen a lot.. Never had my hands out of the wind till the FLH "old style bat wing front". Only issue (to me) would be the wire wheels.. i know the good in them, but in AZ tubes go BANG and tubless run flat nice and slow..
windscreen. It's black but on the bike it looks 100% purple, I was flabbergasted. I thought no way, a black one can't turn purple but it did.
Those ARE tubeless Greg. Nifty huh?
It's the bike that after owning it for just a week I was packed up and on my way to California on it. Stopped in Alberqq for it's first servicing.
That was a gr8 bike camping trip, stayed in a motel just one night so I could get showered b4 getting to my son's house.
wow i thought you had to pay WAY hi bucks for tubeless wire wheels.. yeah that makes it perfect,. I was problem free with my XS1100 or is that backwards.. what ever.. only issue on the bike was the fuel lines.. 4 carbs.. all separate and an unusual fuel shut off that i had a bit of problems with.. the other Yami i owned was a 650 in line twin.. good bike.. first time i've done body work (dented gas tank) that turned out right.. had a worn fork bearing.. sorta self centering .. good bike, but was always waiting for the bearing to seize and leave me stranded..
night Lou.. time to do the sleep thing.. be counting them soon.. tomorrow buddy..
