Get a Smith & Alexander mag well funnel, Heinie Slant Pro Straight Eight Night Sights, and a few Wilson Combat or Chip McCormick 8 rd mags.

Agreed on the mags. I will be personalizing it to fit my likings when funds allow. The mags that came with it a flimsy some bitches. I also want a wilson combat Guid rod like the one the guy has in his in the video I uploaded. So runs do ya like it?

No, I don't like it

It's a 1911, but I guess it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Don't worry about the guide rod. It's a waste of money. Good mags, good sights, a mag well funnel for faster reloads, and a good holster. Does it have the lowered and flared ejection port?

Falred Ejection Port?

Runs I havent a clue what that is. All I know is the 1911 is bone stock brand new. Since I bought it yesterday I have only fired 18 shots through her. And after I stripped it and cleaned it.

means the ejection port on the slide has been enlarged to allow more space for the casing to be ejected through. Getting hung up on the ejection port is one of the more common reasons for malfunction in the 1911, so this process helps reduce that issue.

If the stock photo sytasyn posted is the same setup as your gun, then it looks to have a standard ejection port.

Yep she is pretty stiff. I popped a few rounds off in the back yard about an hour ago. And fired 18 off yesterday. Not sure how many rounds will offically break it in but I think the slide will lossen up the more I shoot it.
