Pre 1968 Beretta 950B in .25 ca. Notice the absence of a safety switch. The safety is at the Hammer at about 1/4 cock.Loaded with 45 grain expanding point Winchester.Remeber if you shoot somebody with a .25 and they find out about it,they are going to be PISSED.
I have a Beretta 950BS, which has the safety switch. Very sweet little pistol. Cartridge is practically worthless, but the pistol is excellent. I guess that if you held the muzzle to a person's temple, or stuck it in the eye socket, it might work quite well. If, of course, the person didn't kill you while you were trying to get the muzzle placed just right!
I had a friend in TX who was shot 6 times in the chest by a .25 ACP. Some of the bullets bounced off his chest bone, & some he later plucked from the muscle of his chest. He beat the guy nearly to death, then crammed the pistol in the guy's mouth. Police didn't charge him, calling it self-defense (which it of course was). The assailant was charged with attempted homicide, convicted, & spent a few years in the Huntsville, TX state pen.

Yup, We have all heard the horror stories about the lowly 25 or 32 or 22 for that matter. To all those people I say this. BULL!!!! The old saying is true. " A hand full of rocks is better than nothing" I guarantee you, 100%. 22, 25, 32 ??? When I get done putting the entire mag into your head, face, throat, balls ETC, you will Most definitely leave me alone. at the very least I have gained a little time to grab something that will crack your skull wide open. but you will leave me alone!!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, if given a choice I will usually opt for bigger hole & a lot more punch, but we don't stick these things in our pockets with the aim of withstanding a all out gun battle??????? So for all you "Tough SOB's" out there who think a 25 wont do me any harm??
I volunteer to pull the trigger, Hell, I will even buy the ammo & pistol & clean up the mess. You cant beat that????
Any day above dirt is a good day!!!

anything less than a .380, I agree that the small calibers are gonna hurt, maybe kill but why take chances? As for an all out gun battle, thats why I keep an AR mounted in the back seat with 5 30's, if someone want's a war, they've got one......I'll be your huckleberry!!!

Like I said, I do agree with ya, personally, 99.999999999999 % of the time I either have my 2 1/4" 357 or my 45 auto, but don't think I am NOT going to pull the trigger just because It's a 25 in my pocket?? Me, behind a 25? I will be left alone!!!
