was my Dad's when he was a Deputy Sheriff, nice old gun. When I shot it in matches I of course used target grips

Great gun

I had a Model 28 like this. Great shooter. The only reason I don't have it yet was that a guy offered me almost double what I had in it, & at the time I was a lot more about profit than I was in keeping guns, even great guns. Come to think of it, I'm not a lot different now. At present, I can use money a lot more than I can guns.
