you can see one of them at my avatar.. I really love the old Victory models. You can get them fairly cheap.. yeah like whats cheap.. but for a real war horse there a great price.. super shooters, cheap ammo, and you can just feel the past when you pick one up.. I know that looks like a 6" bbl, but guessing its 5" which is good for us older eyed dudes..

The K frame model 10 that was the victory is like the 1911, it started out back in the era of black powder. The first mod 10's were in 1899 believe it or not.. and almost unchanged.. Then the victory model of WWII came in.. S&W still made them (mod 10 not victorys) for the military Air Force and Navy till fairly recent.. Not sure of the last mil purchase of mod 10's but betting its latter than the 1911's last (major) in 85..
