My first handgun, Glock 22
good choice, i bought the same one bout a month ago, i had a hard time finding ammo. walmart had the cheap stuff but i picked some up from a cat i meet. i havent shot mine yet. has any 1 had the cci pellet rounds for a hand gun? i had a pack, i want to know how good they are.
Nicely done my friend, thats a .40 right?
yea, jus got it today
very sexy, i bet there will be alone time with you too soon
nice... break her in
how expensive is the 40 ammo by you guys? thats why i went 9mm.lots cheaper
I have lots of friends in the police dept. so I get a lot of it free. Full metal jacket is about $17 for good ammo. I can not stress enough, STAY AWAY FROM CHEAP AMMO
whats a good 9mm ammo?
Just stay with the names you know; Remmington, Winchester, etc. experiment with different types, if you don't shoot that often it really doesn't matter. I shoot pretty often so I try to use good ammo, keeps the weapon cleaner.
yeah im using the winchester and no problems so far.im just looking for the best place to by bulk.
check out ammo to go (ammunitiontogo.com). Great place to buy in bulk, especially rifle ammo and they deliver to your door. shipping isn't that bad. My mail currior must think I'm a nut with the amount of ammo he delivers to my house. well, maybe I am a nut.
If I don't order through them, and just need some handgun plinking ammo, I will run up to walmart and get some winchester white box.
i used to buy my ammo there but i found cheaper at ammoman.com and they deliver for free. you got to check it out when it comes to ammo!
Great to have a new toy. Break her in right. I bought a XD in .45 and handload my own ammo. Found the right load for it and it shoots extremely well. Have fun.
i have one with coyote tan frame- and a photon strobing light- its awesome- nice gun- i also have an XDm in 40 with a laser light combo- both excellent guns- ammo no problems but yeah- stay away from the cheap stuff- check out the deals at walmart- sometimes they have really good ammo on sale- hope this helps out and keep shootin bad guys!!
I too bought a 9mm because of the cost of shooting. Wal-mart $8.49/50 rounds of Blazer Brass 115 gr FMJ for range shooting and Federal 135 gr Hydra-Shok for home protection and when I get my CCW.
