new paint scheme?

new paint scheme?

Thinking about doing this pattern in black and od green. The od green would end being the unmasked off area and the "tiger stripes" would be black. Let me know what ya think about the idea. If I don't do the tiger pattern then it would be done in all od green.

By all means, get a couple pieces of lumber to spray for test pieces. I'm lucky in that I "acquired" an M16 rubber training rifle that I tested patterns on before doing my rifle. I like continuous stripes that are blended together. It looks nice and is much better camo than bold stripes that have defined edges

he used several different color spray paint cans, and used natural plant branches as the masking media. Looked pretty good.

just a side note

" The Shooter" was based on a book by Stephen Hunter "point of impact"which is a great book with a lot of detail relating to shooting.

"a time to hunt" by Stephen Hunter is also good reading, continuing the character of Bob Lee Swagger from "the shooter"

I have all of Stephen Hunters books and find them entertaining, geez i just did a book review.

Thanks

its a 22LR caliber and I have a 4x32 8-point Simmons scope. I just now modified an M16 pistol grip to fit on it.
