This one is real!
A friend of mine was hunting near Seymour , TX . One of his hunting companions shot a dove and
by the time he got to it to pick it up, a rattlesnake "retrieved" it for him.
Notice that the snake was not shot, all the hunter did was step on its head as there was no way it could bite him.

I'm glad you could post this. Also thanks for the directions. I'll try it in future, but I'm really bad at doing things like this.
By the way, Seymour, TX is about 60 miles west of where I grew up. It's very common around there to see rattlesnakes everywhere.
