HI-Point JC 40 S&W
Got this tonight, I know not top of the line. But have to start some where
and this has more knock down than my friends 9mm or "so he says" has some kick and a light trigger.
Congrats Mark, go shoot something up. LOL
have to finish wk at work before going to my range.
Your gun is only as good as you are, as long as the round goes where you intend it to go it is a good piece. Remember don't don't pull a Plaxico and shoot yourself.
for sure for sure good to see some one from our area.
shoot something at work. lol
then might just call it postal huh
how far from twin cities are you
hurry up and save your money to up grade,
hi-points. Good start. All I can tell you is the more expensive the gun does not mean its a better gun. Home protection, shooting sport should have a less expensive choice. High point has a bad rep because of people running them into NYC back in the 1990's. The DA started calling highpoints junk guns because he wanted press. The rep has nothing to do with the quality and hi point stands behind their product.
nice, ive been planning to get one too, preferably a .45 caliber, so they are dead with one shot.
Thanks, in my state .40 is the smallest cal you can carry deer hunting and also I bought for this and my CCW.
that would be fun, ive never gone handgun hunting, i always use shotgun slugs.
don't mean to spoil your party but how did you just pick it up and the pic was taken in january
didn't notice date wrong on camera not always the brightest bulb thanks for letting me know though
The company has terrible quality control and some guns are great, while others are complete crap. Not the first choice of anyone for self defense, and definitely not a good gun (or caliber) for hunting, but I guess someone has to buy them. Good luck with it.
