There is an option for a manual thumb safety but they are harder to come by. The model shown above doesn't have one.

LBC was probably referring to the firing pin bar/safety which stops the sear from being engaged unless the trigger is fully depressed (i.e. stops AD if you were to drop a pistol)

Sorry just getting back to this. Yeah, it's not bad at all. High 80s for the most part. The in-laws were in town for a few weeks to help with the wife and kid. Getting reports from you neck of the woods as 70s in the day and 40s at night.

I love autumn. Best time of year!
