I wanted to cause a bit of consternation and second guessing in a baby boomer. Or are you one of the guys in between the greatest generation and thebaby boomers? Yep, that's my little bitty station. We may be small, but we're also weak, lazy, and complacent. Oh yeah, and incompetent. Speaking of my MP station, I just got a call from my supervisor giving me heads up that a Department of the Army Civilian Police officer sent an email to the civilian ops manager saying he heard me putting down DACP, saying they're all worthless and dumb. I'm supposed to expect to have to talk to my highers about that comment. I can't wait to go to work tomorrow, because the closest I've said to that is when I bitch about certain DACP being fuckin morons, just like I bitch about certain MPs being fuckin morons. I think I know who said it, and I might try to get the little faggot to fight me. I'm getting bored with so many days off anyway, and fighting a civilian at the desk is a sure fire way to get relieved of duty.

Like all old military reservations Ft Huachucha, and for those who don't know, its phonetic as wa'chew'ka....nee (sorry could'nt help it) has some areas that are really memorable, the ones that stick out to me are: permenent old 155's lining the main parade ground.. boarderd by Officers row (flag rank and up housing) that date back to the 1800's, the flag pole is exactly 5,280 ft. The old base cemetary which is honestly the only cemetary ive ever seen that reminds me of Arlington, and the west gate which has grafite that also dates back to the 1800's.. pretty special place, and the one the pentagon calls every morning at 0dark30 to see whats up in the world..(the DID or daily intel digest) That would be a great idea for a post the bases weve been on, and the things that make them special.. one of these days..
a man has to hold his word, hold his beliefs, and hold a good sight picture.
But yeah, there are a lot of historical landmarks and features on this post. I like Ft Riley, KS history better, I mean they get to claim two world epidemics that started right there. All Ft wachewka (that's correct) gets is Apaches and meskins.
