one would enjoy it but there are no ranges withing reasonable driving distance and I'd assume many others here are in the same predicament, I'll check with son-in-law to see if he has 500yds in a straight line that does not terminate in a housing development.
If so I'll attempt to find targets. Anything bullseye is on the back shelf if it's at the store at all.
And then, if I can get any shots on paper I'll post it. All this could take awhile...

Reminds me of this one

Ruger 77MKII, VHSS, .243, Simmons 6.5x18

I let it go about a year ago, lots of work for "little" results. LOL!

I'm game too. Like DC, it could take some time.

At 9 lb it was single purpose for sure.
Certainly not a stalker.

I'd like to own a pretty one in maybe 2 or 3 categories but $$$.
Nine pounder, what caliber? Must have been a sweet one to shoot!

another .243

Had a recoil like a .223
Safe queen though. I got rid of the "pretty" ones and got shooters now.

to replace the one my g-mother gave me. It was stolen from my apartment while I was away in the Navy. It was in poor condition but I could still keep them in the rings @ 25yds.
