We did a trip to Idaho 2 summers ago and fell in love with the state, went by mt. home on the way back, the base is to south of the interstate to see anything. Obviously he's ok, but WOW!.. Im surprised not more than two crashes in the history of the tbirds..

Better check into that

Theres been quite alot more thunderbirds crashed than 2. Back in the 80s they lost 4 or 5 in one crash alone, when they were flying the T-38s.

He is one of only a few that ever survived a catastrophic compressor fire, that close to the ground. That would end my career in aviation... My wife's ex had to bail out at tree top in a jet, he in front and his instructor in back, down at Pensacola NAS. He made it and the instructor bought the big one, too bad it couldn't have been the other way around.

Who would we hate?

Where do I start?

Crooked, self-serving politicians, jake-leg preachers, sleazy mortage bankers, super macho gun shop commandos, men who beat on women, ANYBODY who abuses a child. I don't just hate the last named, I want to kill them.

But sure do.. I don't care much for "religion", or some denominations "rules".. but i honestly do care about the Lords instructions to love your fellow man, and it bothers me that i would have NO issue with putting down a child abuser..

One of the only real negative about my job was that for a period of time i had to work on a "sex offender" yard.. these weren't offenders, they were pedophiles, and pure evil.. what was worse was they were model Inmates.. when your that evil you should have it printed on your forehead like something out of revelations..

Nope they were all like Uncle Harry (sorry to any Harrys out there) The worst was to see them in visitation with some women they met thru the mail that had kids.. We weren't allowed to say anything to the women, and I actually had staff get in trouble for trying to warn them..

For a little insight on Preachers.. Check out Paul in the new testament.. Old Paul makes it real clear what a preacher is "supposed" to be.. and i've read over, and over, Paul saying that they have to have NO love of money, work hard, and love thier fellow man.. Paul is so clear on this every time i read it i think sheesh did those TV ministers even read the bible..

Sure you guys are up to speed on the F-22 that went down in Alaska.. my understanding is thier not sure if he ejected or not.. Can't find any evidence of the seat or him.. Thing is they haven't described if it was a 900 mph straight into a mt, or what.. Odd that no transponder sig, and thinking he flew it into a mt.. hope not, but...

Not just TV preachers. There's a lot of 'em standing up in pulpits every Sunday, in churches ranging from very simple one room affairs to multi-million dollar edifices that are just as rotten.
I was raised in a small Methodist church in my home town, where my wonderful mother was the adult Sunday School teacher and pianist (there was no organ) for the best part of 70 years. When I was 14 we got a new young preacher who immediately started agitating for new drapes and decorations for the area where the pulpit was, and where the choir sat. One day he and the money that had been raised disappeared. It took months, but he was caught and put in prison, where I hope Bubba butt-fucked him every night. Hell, tho, he probably enjoyed that. My mother couldn't stand him, but she said that she'd be damned if he was going to run her out of her church, where she'd been since the early 1920's. I could go on about it, but there's no need to just vent my spleen.

What I hate is Bible butchers.

I can make the Bible say anything I
want it to say if I butcher it

One example I like

Judas went out and hanged himself
Go the and do like wise
And do it quickly

Three real Bible verses used to
say what I want the Bible to say

More about preachers.
I graduated high school with John Henry Sewell. John Henry was a fine person, and was a lay preacher in the Church of God from the time he was 15 years old (maybe earlier). He was also a fine blue grass guitar picker and singer, too. After we graduated, John Henry went to a seminary up in OK, and became a full time preacher. We kept in touch up until we were in our mid-60's. He continued to preach, and to pastor small churches as long as he could keep going. In my mind, he was a true man of God. He never asked for much for him and his family, never wanted anything for himself. He just wanted to preach God's word.
When I was in high school, I used to go to his church quite a bit. They didn't have a piano or organ. John played the guitar, and so did one of his younger brothers and an older man, and that was their music. I'd take my guitar and a mandolin and play along with them. John's older sister didn't play an instrument, but she sang with them. They sang the old time hymns, and their harmony was great. I'd learned harmony from my mother, so we worked it out that I'd sing whichever part that one of them wasn't singing. The whole church would clap and sing along, and I just loved it.

The new testament is very clear.. when people start mixing the new and old, and "interpreting" first thing you get is a mishmash of what ever they want to justify doing, which is usually something about "seed money".. It really is simple.. As LBC said one time, easy peasy japanese..

Love God, love your fellow man, follow the 10 commandments, and the Golden rule.. If the Lord is in your soul thru the miracle of the spirit.. you know if something is right or wrong.. You do your best to do whats right, and know if your trying the Lords forgivness is there forever..

That's it.. and if you hit women, hurt people, (those who don't deserve it, im doing some interpreting here) F with kids, value money more than friendship your a piece of shit.. Ok the last im pretty sure is not biblical.. but its true..

ecaman nice story

I am not totally against religion per say but
most organized religions I've seen do not do
what God commanded them to do which is
to take care of the widows and children.

I see million dollar churches built in an area
with people going hungry around the block.
I think a person has the right to be comfortable
in church but I am very much against building
multimillion dollar buildings. Buildings are for
man not for God.

I had an uncle who was 101st Airborne Glider
Batt in WW11 who became a lay preacher later
in life and I've never met a more convicted man
than he was.
