This rifle is, believe it or not, based on the M14. It has advanced technology, and has been accurized and equipped with match quality parts. It is chambered for the 7.62mm x 51mm NATO standard .308. It does have some resemblance to the US Navy's Mark 14 Model 0 Enhanced Battle Rifle, but this rifle was not based on the M14.

to me, this still looks like an M14 with a nice mod stock (actually not too far from a socom II with a longer barrel)
