we had one when I was a kid in Houston and loved it. Every summer I wonder about getting an in ground pool but it would be a liability here in Utah as we have what seems like six months of winter every year. As I remember they are power hungry as well, running the pump and filter etc.
I have a 15' above ground unit that I bought, not as nice as an in ground but it does the trick on 100 degree days.

one of those kidney shaped (but long enough to do laps) things.. 10 feet deep.. which they dont do today, and is actually stupid.. Lot of wasted water.. Yep your right about the expense, one of those things that if you use them they make since, other wise just a waste..

that have proper pools but they are doctors and lawyers and such, they can afford it.

hot tub,turn it down to 95 in the summer,we get low temps of 60 during the summer so the hot tub is perfect! doesn't cost that much to maintain vs. benefits.

Greg i can tell you use to do laps to as you have shaved all your chest hair off,some old habits are hard to break i guess. :)

that doesn't have chest hair. My son is that way, maybe one lone hair. When I make fun of him he asks me when I'm going to mow mine.

Do have some delts to.. along with the Barbra bush "Herman's".. those might be from my early days of weed smoking.. What ever.. I thought about popping the "delts" for ya all, then thought na you guys would be all traumatized.... BRAAHHHAAA..

NO, but that pissed me off when i was a kid.. my voice changed in like 7th grade..So i kept waiting to get a little hair on my chest.. and waiting.. and waiting.. Only thing good about it is that the flip side of that is the full head of hair.. did one HS reunion.. this was like 20 years ago.. and all the guys that had chest hair were going thru that male pattern baldness thing..

This is just another example of the Lords since of humor.. I've "almost" always cut my own hair, and keep it as it is.. Actually longer than when i was with the dept.. It wouldn't bother me at all if it all fell out tomorrow.. Just give me a good excuse to shave the rest of it, and not have to worry about burning up my clippers..

To be honest I laughed at it due to I had the thought the Garand weighed more than eastwood lol. I didnt see the whole movie yet. I borrowed it from my local library but the DVD was to scratched. But I will get a personal copy soon as I can.
