Para Ord, or Para-USA, or Para Ordnance (as it started) have been the most innovative of the 1911 builders for some time now, as they continue to prove.
Their prices certainly aren't cheap, but their quality is outstanding.
Just my personal preference, I guess, but my favorite gun of theirs is their LDA-7. Maybe someday, but then again, maybe not. There's no way I need it, but I'd sure like to have one.

I just got a catalog from Wilson Combat. Absolutely beautiful guns, and I don't think there's any better quality.
Prices? Jesus fucking shit! You can buy a damn good used truck for less than most of these guns.
