the deal is i don't have an owners manuel.. so going to have to go online and get a "fix" for the vivitar..its a 4145 ..the top control has a red A that i assume to be auto mode.. also has a running figure that i figured would speed up the shutter speed..

The deal earlier was NOT good for the padre.. nothing like public humiliation to.. hmmm.. what am i looking for here.. maybe "humble" a guy.. the preview screen i had to go from looked .. sorta ok..

I have less wish for a repeat of that than you guys.. Pard.. will call you, or call me when your done tomorrow.. will get this pesky sp check thing fixed, and you can "school" me a bit bout this whole pic thing..

later all...

for real.. Nope.. i appreciate the comment, but were all the same sora guy's.. and showing your butt in public like that is not a "damn fine job"...but you sure did make me feel better..

Thank you mr H.. i had some good pic's in the past.. thing is im not sure i know what i did to get them.. What ever it was i know i can correct the sittuation.. Just talked to pard who tells me he's gonna take off early tomorrow to help with the sp check.. course since our buddy Vaq usually leaves work around.. oh gosh i don't know... NOON.. that means I'll have to get up earlier than normal...

You guys are the best.. I've made a decission.. im going to keep the SMLE.. and sell all others.. This is going to be fun guys.. again NOT trying to sell.. I'm throwing this out there, if you'r interested.. the price (i promise this) will be great.. I'm not getting one penny, and sis-n-law is doing just fine..

I know Gary wants these to be enjoyed, and shoot.. I promise you 100% honesty with condition and a great price if you'r interested.. but remember less your here in AZ you have the hastle and cost of FFL and freight..

Think the best way to do this is to make ONE post and give the inventroy and condition, thats it.. if your interested you guys can pm.. I'm not going to give the price in the post, and it wont be discussed again.. I will say it will be the same for all of you guys i know..

Ok.. nuff of this.. I really don't want to talk about it again.. with the exception of ONE post in a day or so.. and all else will be PM only..

night guys..

Does the camera have a flash and, if so, are you using it? Many new "point and click" cameras today compensate (pretty nicely, I admit) for the general populace's lack of photography skill/knowledge by using a small aperture lens in order to minimize focal problems and increase the depth of field. The drawback to this is that they require either very good light conditions or a long exposure time.

So, my educated guess is that the light conditions are causing it to hold the aperture open longer which is why the shakiness. You would have to increase the light (with a flash or other lighting) or hold it more steady (with a tripod, or less coffee).
