PLEASE READ AND SIGN THIS PETITION.

CONGRESSMAN FLEMING FROM LA WANTS CONGRESS AND SENATE TO BE REQUIRED TO USE THE SAME HEALTH CARE THEY ARE TRYING TO FORCE ON US!!!!!

PLEASE SIGN THE BELOW PETITION AND SUPPORT CONGRESSMAN FLEMING.

On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn that would require all Members and their staffs to enroll in any new government-run health plan. It took me less than a minute to sign up to require our congressmen and senators to drink at the same trough! Three cheers for Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana!

Congressman John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same healthcare plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt).

Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go on his Website and sign his petition (very simple - just first, last and email). I have immediately done just that at: http://fleming.house.gov/index.html . Please urge as many people as you can to do the same!

If Congress forces this on the American people, the Congressmen should have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families.

Not me

I am not signing this I don't want a government run health care/plan by signing this you are saying you will accept one as long as they do, which is something Obama said in his last address on it, which we know is bull the man lies all the time, he said he would not remove the missiles from Poland and what he changed his mind..as O'Reilly put it.

I don't mind paying for my health care. I just object paying for yours. Medicare doesn't 'work pretty good.' In fact, it works hardly at all. Lots of doctors refuse to take it. The supplementary health care you have to acquire to pick up the 'gaps' in Medicare are way higher than plain old full health insurance were a few years ago. Plus you liberals are telling me I 'must' have health care according to YOUR provisions. Fuck you!

I've worked out my health care just fine, thank you, and I don't need you telling me how to do it. Once you have the government 'protect you' from cradle to grave, then they get to tell you what to do from cradle to grave. I want the government out of my life as much as possible. I'll pay my fair share for the national defense, but other than those areas proscribed by the Constitution, butt out! Get the fuck out of my life.

I'm a little disturbed by this petition only insofar it looks like caving in. I don't want an amendment to this bill; I want it to die.

Like I said, I don't have to come running to you to take care of my health care. I've taken care of it because that's the responsible thing to do--take care of yourself. I expect you to do the same damn thing. I'm NEVER going to come running to you for my health care. Frankly, I'd rather die first.

It's a done deal. It's over. As far as people helping each other, those who label themselves conservatove give over four times more to charities and the like than those who label themselves liberal. Liberals talk, but they don't do. Hypocrites.

1. Tort reform. get the fucking lawyers out of it. Malpractice insurance drives doctors out of the profession.

2. make citizens responsible for their own health care. Non-taxed health care through work is a scam for the insurance companies. They give 'group rates' to workers, who are healthy or they wouldn't be working. If you put everyone on an even keel the health insurance companies would actually have to compete for your business. What a concept! Competition lowers prices.

3. Use high-deductible plans. Let's say you would normally pay $500 a month for full coverage, $6 grand a year. You can get a $5,000 deductible for $150 per month. Your health care costs just got cut by over two-thirds. If you get sick, you burn the deductible before it kicks in, but it is still what you would have paid had you stayed healthy.

What we've got to stop is this entitlement sense that every time you stub your toe you run to emergency, spend a grand, and expect someone else to pay. If you stubbed your toe it's your own damned fault. How about paying for your stupidity? Most people on health insurnce never even see a bill. I sure didn't for 30 years.

4. Keep the government out. When social security started the price was 1/2 of 1% of your pay, or 1% altigether. Now it's 15%. The government is the nose of the camel under the tent. Keep the government out.
