I am going to try and get Glock to donate a gun to one of our worthy and needy persons.
Even if you are just viewing, let me know, ASAP
El Presidente for Life or 10,001 points whichever comes first...
I will keep the tally...
1 - Glock 19
my dad owns a 19
glock 19 & 26 and soon a 34,the Glock 9mm trifecta!
Lucky, you will love the 34. It's real sweet, extended sight radius and the longer barrel helps the balance, 3.5 connector and comes with an extended mag release and an extended slide release, which is real nice. I don't know why they don't just make all modesl with the extended slide release.
my kid has a 27 (40mm subcompact)
Mike, your dad owns 19? Well, I'm happy for him, but I can't understand why anyone would own all of them. What does he do with all of them?
Count and model# please!
my dad owns a model 19
but it's my second 19 (first one was destroyed in Australia) and soon maybe the 36
Pkato, just curious, how and why was it destroyed??
SamD, lets see, I guess I have too many. No, on second thought there is still a couple of new models I'd like to have. I have a model 17, 19, 22, 27, 21sf, 30sf, 34 and 35. The 34 and 35 I shoot most, I use them for IDPA matches. That's 8.
in Australia, it was during the time they confiscated all the guns. I could not keep it in my house, so it had to stay at the gun club...which I did. When I was ready to leave, customs wanted to see the original receipt, which I didn't have (bought it in late 80s or early 90s, can't remember exactly). Anyway, I tried calling the US, to the K-Mart in Arkansas, but after about 10 phone calls, to them, my folks at home, etc I didn't find the receipt. Those 10 phone calls cost me over 150 dollars or so. The gun at the time cost about 349 maybe? or a little more, so I was approaching half the cost of the gun, so I decided to save me the time and energy and money I would just donate it to the gun club. But after I left, the government took all the guns or so I am told. Possibly someone from the club kept it illegally but I don't know for sure. The folks I kept in touch with said all the guns at the club (unless they were .38 revolvers or smaller calibers) were confiscated.
I wish I could own a 26 !!!
If anyone ever drives up to canada, let me know ;) ha ha ha
A 17 and 19
Another thing we could consider....if enough people were willing to order, we could get some type of discount, maybe do some special engraving on it, Gunslot or something...but they would be special ordered, numbered, engraved or something like that, with the logo. I have heard of groups doing orders and gettting huge discounts...just a thought.
Memo, sam call Glock....
but my local PD just replaced all their sidearms with Glocks at LESS than $100 apiece brand new!
I'm the needy one. Come on, don't make me play the "poor multiple tour veteran fighting for your freedoms" card. ALRIGHT, DAMNIT!!!! I have three. 19, 26, and 34. I suck.
for that very useful and inciteful information. You are needy, you just need insurgents to fight.
Send Runawayguns back to finish this Iraqi thing....
on the 31st to do a townhall type meeting apparently. Maybe I can get him to put in a good word for me with the DoD for a deployment.
I wrote and told him, that I would not vote to re-elect him as long as he was for this Amnesty Bill...
I found this out going into the Republican office yesterday after bed shopping (Tempur-pedic has much better online deals than the stores do, BTW). The guy in the Republican office called McCain "Arizona's toughest Democrat". Hah hah. I'm not going to change my state of residency until I actually buy a house here, so I'll remain unregistered for now.
Is the 26 too big for a pocket pistol? (Holstered of course)
I suppose if you had really baggy pants, but I tried it with a pocket holster at Quantico Tactical, and didn't like it.
ebear said it would fit in your backpocket, what did he mean? lol
Hell, it'll fit in a front pocket, but it's going to print real bad and be hard to draw.
