I Think I can find a warmer way to die.
I feel for the families, but shit happens. Hell, I have a small survival kit in my truck, and I'm not even planning to climb a mountain. You would think people would be more prepared.
I have spent a very considerable amount of time in the mountians in the winter, Mt. Hood in particular... These "experienced climbers" DID NOT have a PLB, (personal locator becon)this $349.00 investment most likely would have saved their lives and not endangered the lives of the SAR teams looking around blindly for "lost climbers" in less than favorable conditions...Even a GPS could have atleast sent off a "ping" for location and made this a rescue mission instead of a recovery of 1 dead body and no luck finding the other 2... This device (PLB) SHOULD BE A REQUIREMENT when climbing a mountian...
a strapon and astroglide is not a survival kit..............wait in your case it is.
every year, you think people would stop...............ok maybe not.
I also have a digital camera, PDA with Verizon internet access, keys to your house, and an insatiable appetite for tossing doggy salad. Oh yeah, and a magnesium firestarter.
Would that be with or without cocktail weenies?
