was something that pissed me off. i couldn't believe i did that. it was in my first clip of the gun, last shot. I was used to my Kimber and PT709 being 7 round clips and when that one was an 8 it was my last one, I fired it one handed, lets just say I'm not ready for that.
Paper size is 14" x 21"
I just picked up a box of Telammo, the Russian junque in .380. I've been trying different mfg's ammo to see what my gun likes. So far, everything :<) No malfunctions at all.
The shots you put in the lower right, were they toward the end of your range time? If I let myself get too tired I start drooping them off
I got a new recoil spring for my 1911, this weekend I'll see if I've improved the "feel".
They were out of the last clip at this target. Just as the ones just above it were the previous clip. I let myself rest and let the gun cool down and then started my 25 yard shots but I have no pics, I left the target at the range. They were nothing to brag about anyway. In fact I was not impressed with them at all. Being fairly new to target shooting with pistols I need to work on it a bit more. My accuracy starts going down hill after about 200 shots. I had fired approximately 150 9mm out of my PT709 Slim just before I started with the 1911. I believe I actually started flinching a bit at the end and that is why I stopped. I definitely don't want that to become a habit so I will start watching and if I feel mysellf start doing it I will stop.
Can't take it too seriously that takes all the enjoyment out of it. I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your "range reports."
My G-Daughter loaned a book to me last night, it's written for 6th grade level reading. Darned if I did not nearly finish it before I went to bed! My G-Kids love for me to look over their books and give my opinion. After reading some really heavy social/political commentary their books are a vacation LOL
Good reminder. If it ever stops getting fun then I know something is wrong or the price of ammo went up so much that I can't afford it.
