I have the 709

Mine is not stainless slide but that is the gun. Took it out this weekend. Put over 250 rounds through it. Approx 10 different types and not a single failure. First 3 clips did throw the casing out into random directions but after that they all went to the same place. A lot more accurate than I expected. Occasional flyer but I have no doubt that was me and not the gun. It is a mid sized frame in 9mm. Next will be a 1911 .45 just have to decide which one I will get.

Trevor, my only bitch

about my .380 is the sights (I think they could be better) but as a backup it only needs to be pointed in the right direction to be effective, plus it is such a diminutive gun that you can aim down your trigger finger and be accurate. I have never had any malfunctions and I am impressed with the quality that Taurus delivers for the money, outstanding.

I have a Judge, TCP738 and a PT1911 and I am in the market for a Raging Bull in .44 magnum, I just can't say enough about Taurus's quality.

Bob Moon (ecaman) and I had a long conversation about Taurus bringing it's reputation as the scourge of the industry (Hi-Point ish) to competitive quality in less than a decade, someone in that company had their shit together.

PT1911

I'm assuming you like it. That is actually one of the few still on my list of wants. The only problem I have with the PT1911 is that the compact 1911's fit my hands better. I wish Taurus had one but I have yet to find one or even hear talk of one.

I figure thats not too bad, too bad it was stainless with gold trigger, safety, hammer and something else. I'm not into that. They didn't have any of the others in stock just that one.
