it is shit! Try the Federal or Remington cheap stuff over tha Winchester. I know all guns are different, but my XD 40 shot best using 165 gr. ammo. Good shooting! So......was she good?

first off....when i went to the range i bought a box of Winchester so i would " get a discount on the range time" i fought with that shitfor the first. 2.5 targets JAMMING UP!!!I started to realize that i got the gun so cheap for a reason...bUT tHEN....I took out the Reminton 180 grain hollow points and my shit eating grin came backThis gun shoots great.....It still has more recoil than my Taurus 24/7 .45, but im not complaining.My eyes started bugging out after awhile...lol...so i just started rapid firing like a mad man!!!!but for the most part i kept the bullets on the target

Anyway, you shot the new gun, got a good feel for it and what ammo it likes and had fun at the range...what more could you ask for? (well...beer and a lady), but that goes without saying...

I went for a few weeks not needing glasses for anything but reading, I could even see the front sight on my rifles. My eyesight has deteriorated since then but the Dr told me it would happen and to expect a second round of cataract removal.
The shock of being able to see again was unbelievable and damn well worth the trouble. I'm looking forward to the next treatment.

I'm glad you got some range time. I've been busting my nuts trying to get the house repairs done. MAYBE I'll get to the gun show tomorrow

Then again, my Glocks haven't had any problems with anything except a couple failures to chamber with some Cor-bon JHP. I would go insane if I had a 100 rd box and 35 didn't work right. Oh well, I reload. Hell, I still have thousands of .40 casings from when I had a Glock 22 and 23. Never know, might come in handy one day.

no excuses' ,but i really do think i had defective ammo..i was jammin on every mag with the Winchester...then when i went to the Remington ammo...not one jam.i even took a couple of rounds of the Winchester and mixed them in with the remington and ....they jammed again..i threw them away.

Winchester Ammo, Have fired several thousand rounds of Winchester white box, 9mm 115gr. ball. No problems at all. Fired out of taurus PT-111, and 2 Glock 9X19.
My Supervisor had problems with his Glock-19. The armorer, cleaned outside of the bbl, it had a buildup of carbon, and fowling the slide. He took dish scrubber that will not mar the bbl. or slide. I checked my weapon and found the same starting to build up on mine. I scraped most off with my fingernail.
We train with Winchester white box 115 ball, and quilify with, Remington 124gr, Golden Saber
(+P). Hp.
Look clostly for carbon fowleling, don't take much.
Then like you say, maby your weapon don't lik'um.
