Remmie 11-87 It is tough, has sites, 6 rounds or more, and slugs if you wish!!
Just saw another one with a rail and a red dot on top of the receiver
I dont know if this is even close to what you might be looking for, but I saw this in their 2010 catalog I got the other day, and U came to mind!! http://www.legacysports.com/products/howa/howa_ranchlandcompact.html
but no, I'm not looking for a bolt gun... more of a "get down to business" gun. Im debating on one of my SKS's or building an AR
Thats cool!! I understand! Just make sure you let us know which U end up going with!! Im sure you will! And a pic would be sweet too!!!
I thought you had the Draco for this purpose? Other possible truck guns is a AR pistol, reason easily controlled with the buffer resting on your cheek. I can fire mine with adequate accuracy at 100 yards.
Check out this video, of the homie, you get an idea how stable these AR pistols are.
When I was growing up in the 40's and 50's, a truck gun was a lever action .30-30 in a rack behind the driver's head. Very, very common.
These days it would seem that an SKS, AK or AR would be preferable, since they're semiauto, and the AK and AR have more capacity.
The .30-30's never had the range to be good for coyotes at a distance. I have a friend who used his HK-93, and never had a problem with distant coyotes, because of the good sights, and the range of the .223.
