Buy your local Commie a gun! LOL
Anyone ever owned/shot one of these? One of the venodrs I work with claims he can get me one for around $85. Don't think I want red though.
And you could take your $85 and flush it down the toilet, or give it to the first bum you see on the street, and be better off than buying one of these. These are one of the successors to the Jennings, Raven, Bryco, etc. family of truly awful guns.
I kind of figured this was a you get what you pay for situation, there seems to be a lot of bad opinions out there about them on the net, but I've only ever talked with 1 person who can honestly say they have shot one and he loves his.
buy the gun and send it to greasy paws and he will make a BBQ spatula out of it.....LOL!
Hamp I can't remember if I told ya or not but the cobra factory is in the Salt lake valley here is map http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&safe=off&q=cobra%20firearms%20location...
junk or just the .380? Made in SLC is cool though.
According to what I have been told their patriot series .45 is a different design than all of their other guns and is a good gun, all their other autos are junk and they have ok revolvers and derringers. here is their homepage
here is better map of their local
Save your money! In any color save your money!!
I have one in 22 mag. shoots ok trigger pull is funny and have to work to force the spent casing out.
I have no experience with their .45's. I would hope that they are of a different design than the lower calibers.
If the .380 is made of the same metals that went into the earlier Jennings, Raven & Bryco pistols (zinc die cast frames) then I couldn't be offered enough money to shoot one.
I saw the remains of a Bryco .380 that had self-destructed, and it was a scary sight. Both the frame and slide had cracked severely.
