it's called a flash camera. When things are dark this little light pops up and makes it brighter lol.
Nice looking rig though.
America is not at war. The U.S. Military is at war. America is at the Mall. If you don't stand behind our troops, PLEASE feel free to stand in front of them!

I like the weapon. It looks very functional and A-team ready. Do you have a pressure switch for the light, or is it thumb activated?

or drop down pressure pad? Also, if you are planning on using this for home defense, you might consider removing the sling, unless you are trained with one. I have heard stories where people get their slings tied up during room clearing on their virgin run. I also spoke with a guy that was contracted to train the Iraq Police Force (insert joke here), he also recommended that all slings be vacant during home defense with shotgun or rifle.
How do you like the EOTech?

is a trip, it took a little getting used to but it is deadly accurate. Good advice on the sling, I only put it on when headed out to the desert shooting otherwise it is absent. The pressure pad is mounted just above the magazine.

Hamp,
if you ever find yourself with polarized sunglasses, check thihs out. The screen that "projects" the holographic sight is polarized. If you tilt your head 90 or 270 degrees the hologram disappears. Talk about freaking out. I have figured out how to use my eotech to about 400 meters relatively accurate. But I have had the best luck at right around 100 meters.
I have been trying to decide if I should install a light on my ACR. I just can't justify it. I will read/listen to any valid arguments...

Technically I do not HAVE an ACR. I have paid for it, but the "enhanced" version is not available in my area yet. SO I am waiting for the rifle to come in. I have my Leupold CQ/T and my suppressor is ordered (about another 9-10 weeks). I am probably going to get the grip pod after I have the rifle in my hot little hands.
I will write up a review after I have put 1000 rounds through it, which will probably be 1 weekend of shooting if I like it, and for the price I better!!!!

if you want to shoot something in the dark add the light.

How much weight does the light add, and does it move the fulcrum forward?

is negligible. It is a heavy barrel rifle so it is rather portly to begin with, between the light, bipod and vertical grip, that is about all of the shit I want hanging off my rifle...all of which can be removed in seconds.

I think you need to get yourself a suppressor, talk about adding weight to the front of a rifle...

don't you have to get a tax stamp or something from big brother to possess a suppressor?

Just leave your kids enough money to put you in a nice assisted living facility. Otherwise, its the nursing home.

I see what appears to be a Walther pps on that table. What caliber?
