I bet those grips do a lot to absorb the recoil,i have a .44 superblackhawk
with a 4 & 5/8 inch barrel and wood grips that kicks pretty good.but i do like to shoot it.
i tried being reasonable,i didn't like it,

too powerful for little ryo to try yet ka ryo not afraid. in fact the only type firearm that frighten ryo is shotgun. ryo not like shotgun. they very scary weapon to little ryo. ryo would not be afraid to shoot a Barret 82, but a Mossy 500 would scare ryo half way to distraction to shoot. ryo have alway been frighten of shotgun. btw, you have new pm mail.
at our gun range. it look so kewl ryo want to try it so next time go to gun range ryo will ask my pops if it be ok to try it out. he most likely will say no at first and then ryo will bug him until he give in! lol. usually all ryo have to do is give pouty face and hug him round his neck and he will turn to putty in ryo arms and give in ;-) so ryo will let you know how it goes. but this is first revolver that ryo see that really interest self to point where really want to try it! ryo should shoot this weapon using both hands style for pistol, correct ka it look too powerful to shoot with just one hand neh.
ryo is junior range safety officer and come september when complete final range safety course and take final field test will become full Range Safety Officer and ryo is almost fanatic about gun safety and range safety and so ryo was certain that this type pistol must be fire using two hand method for pistol. thank you for additional reminder. range and gun safety are things never to be taken for granted. ryo will remember.
there is away to get over your phobia i scatter guns. Shoot a .410,the 20 gauge then 16 gauge then 12 gauge. my freind helped me that way and im passin it on to you.
but ryo is even afraid of little 410 shotgun, but pops have whole range of shotgun and will ask if he will teach ryo to shoot 410 and so will give this a try. ryo cannot stay afraid forever neh. but even so, ryo is still very frighten of shotgun, but am willing to try this method you suggest. thank you both so very much for your willingness to teach ryo. am most very grateful to you both.
snake kun is good friend of ryo and he very decent fellow and often is misunderstood on the site, ryo believe. but he very kind young man and very intelligent and as just saw he give very good advice.
