The Henry Survival .22LR
and the day I got it, I dropped it and the stock broke. When I called Henry Arms to find out how to order a new one, they sent me a replacement stock at no charge. Definitely good customer service.
are pretty cool, and break down real nice for back packing. How much did you get it for?
I don't know the going rate for a new one, but I got it at Murphy's in Tucson and they usually have pretty good prices.
It will be good for your boy in a couple of years. 4 is cool for his own .22 right? My youngest got his first .20 ga at 9.
It'll all depend on his level of responsibility. He's pretty good at minding right now for the most part, so he's on track for his own gun at three or four if he keeps it up. He loves guns right now and when I hand him a holster, he runs around the house saying bang bang. We'll see.
