We did our deployments to danang, utapau, and sangley pt PI where we spent most of our time.. Sangley pt (hope you've been there) is across the bay from Manila, and talk about party hard.. at the time the exchange rate was 4 pesos to a buck, and you could set up the bar with san miguel for a peso, Short time was 2 maybe 3 pesos if really fine..you could party hard for a buck and a half.. Good days... It's also across the bay from the island of Corregidor, and when we were there it was only like 24 years after the shelling so all the adults would tell us about it..

ive had 12 bottles of guinness draught, but yeah i speak tagalog but english is my main language, i am filipino but my great grandparents actually came here after world war 2, they got a citzenship to come here and my parents decided that i be born there so i am actually a dual citizen by paper.
I'm just another damn yankee with a loaded gun looking for some fun!
We had Phillipinos in the service.. don't know how that worked, and if it still does, and not a citizen like you are either, talking PI residence..maybe cause it was sorta an american protecterate or something, don't know how that worked.. Know that if i had 12 of anything i would be under the table, much less be able to type, or think...amazing, your making us geezers feel our age.. Careful and dont drive brother... Tagolog is so close to spanish, least i thought so.. Do you follow manny packyon (screwed that spelling up) the fighter...That was my sport..

Paciquio is a great fighter! Would love to Mayweather/ Paciquio fight! Paciquio comes at you from so many angles its had to defend yourself youtube the Paciquio/ Cotto fight you'll see what I mean
I agree, Pacquiao all the way... Mayweather lost me when he started going by "Money Mayweather". He's still a great fighter, but Manny is the man. Pacquiao and Margarito fight next month

Floyd was never one of my favorites.. Sorta miss the good old days of Duran, and Lennard.. My favorite was Tommy Hearns.. He my friends was a fighter.. Always thought pound for pound the best welter weight that ever laced on gloves.. Remember when they made him change his name from "hitman" because it was to violent.. When the world of P.C. hits boxing you know somethings wrong..
