My 111 in .300 Winchester Magnum with a pencile thin barrel shot a 5 shot group of .463" center to center the first 5 shots out of the rifle. Not to shabby for a low priced rifle.

i have a model 111 in .270 winchester that i bought from walmart.now "mart" guns arent supposed to be as accurate and well made as the rest but i have had excellent luck with mine.it will shoot sub M.O.D. (minute of deer)just fine.fuck minute of angle,i got a family to feed!

I'm with you, Mike. I can't shoot minute of angle even if the rifle will. All I've ever tried to do is to be able to put my first bullet in the kill zone. I've never hunted for a trophy. All I've ever wanted to do is to kill something to eat.

100yds all in the 10 ring using iron sights, good enough for a cheap rifle to drag through the woods.

You cant beat Savages accuracy out of the box especially for the money, I have a Savage 10 FCP .308 Its Shit Hot I had a Rem 700 at Sniper school and would of given anything to have my lucky Savage!!
