If they were to hit CAT (Clear Air Turbulence) and aircraft drops suddenly are these 2 numnuts in peril of being suspended in air as the plane accelerates away from them?
Somebody has to think of this shit.
they have chutes on but it's hard to tell for sure, even if they have chutes, they would soon be heading out to the farallons..lol
Farrallons most only known by locals. That stretch of water just outside of the gate heading northwest is known as the "Potatoe Patch" My late bro-in-law was fishing with some friends and they made that turn to come under the gate and broached a 40' Chris Connie. Frikkin thing almost went over, came back down broke alot of windows and some hatches. That can scare the shit outta of you.
But they look like they are tethered to one another and the plane
and raised in Berkley and I spent half or better of every summer with my Grandmother in Alameda and spent quite a bit of time in Marin county with my Aunt so I pretty much was a local at one time. I knew the Bay area like the back of my hand by bus as Grandmother quit driving when she moved to San Francisco at 18, in 1921, she was born in Illinois in 1903, and she always took the bus and so did I...lol
I've walked across that bridge twice so far and it just amazes me construction wise.
They're strapped to the plane and not going anywhere, not uncommon for the load masters to hang out on the tailgate. Tailgunners on Chinooks sat in the same spot as well.
