It's not ?
Well hell it should have been.
I do loose myself sometimes.
Didn't know if I went or not, wife says no
I was in Fredricksburg.
was thinking of going and spending a week there. Also want to go to Shiner, TX. Shiner has a park with a few RV sites.
Yes Fredricksburg is a very interesting city. I'm going
back the 2nd Sat in May on Founders Day.
In 1847 the citizens of Fredricksburg made a treaty
with the Cheyenne Indians that they would take from the
earth only what they needed and would give back to the
earth what it needed. In trade the Cheyennes could have
a cow or so as they needed if all could live in peace.
Fredricksburg was never raided again and that is the
only treaty ever kept with the Indians.
Every second Sat In May Founders day is held and
the actual descendants of the founders and the
descendants of the Cheyenne Chiefs meet in a Pow Wow.
Was interesting to me anyway lol, I'm going to go view it.
of iced tea does sound good right now
