This is the view from our porch
No more slide shows tonight..just wanted you guys to see where the geezer lives.. Am excited about doing some shooting tomorrow..and posting pics of same..
but looks way too hot and dry for my tastes. I need hills, trees AND water. I can't wait for warmer weather. Time to hike the streams and catch smallmouth.
but brother its pretty in the mts.. we get snow least 5 times a year.. and have two running streams.. this pic was taken in the fall, and yep sorta burnt out look'n but much better now after lot of rain and snow this winter.. Plus as you could see from the other pic we get deer, and Javalina in the yard all the time..What i like is that i can either drive up the road shown a couple of miles, or north bout 5 to another range to shoot...Going to do that tomorrow and post pics tomorrow night.. bought a hundred rounds of jacketed ball 38 (130gr) that all my 38's seem to like so just a matter of which ones i grab tomorrow to have fun with this..
I have to drive about ten miles to our range, but it is part of the National Forest and it's really nice being able to shoot out in the wilderness. Everyone talking about going to the range is making me itch for a quick run tomorrow. Never been much of a pistol shooter....I prefer the rifle range. I'm looking into a new pistol since all I have at the moment is a Ruger Mk II target pistol and a Walther P38 my grandfather brought back with him in 1945. I've had to temper my desire for a new rifle while I acquire the pistol, but the money is about to burn a hole in my pocket.
Saw the pic with the deer in the yard. I had eight in my yard last night and usually take the opportunity to take the air rifle out and tag one for practice. They now tend to scatter anytime they hear me trying to quietly open a door.
Damn I would love to be your neighbor
His neighbor.......he'd probably move
The deers would move... or is it mooo..
when i go into the ocean the fish stop swimming!!!!lololol
