It really does

I've been waiting and wanting the 226 Elite 40/357 for a while now. Actually I think the 226 Elite is the best 40 out there, feels like a 9 mm and is dead on. Really like the SRT for fast follow ups and with the grip angle, double and triple taps as some call them, are fast with tight grouping.

HA...

My brother Mike has two shelves in his main safe that are nothing but Sigs. I can go up and take anything I want out and hang onto it as long as I like. Excluding the 220 Super Sport and his 226 Elite... bastard

sigs

yeah, I also have a 229 equinox .40 and a regular 229 9mm. The 226 elite does feel really smooth for a .40, and yes, the SRT is the selling point. I've been wanting to send my equinox to sig to have an SRT installed but haven't got around to it.

One of the few non-1911 pistols I find desirable. Both in aesthetics and in feel.

Beaver tail

Ha, ha. I never thought about that, but you might be on to something there. I was always a sucker for a nice beaver/tail. In that order. :D
