Now this I like. It has a cyclone silencer, rifle not sure, maybe Remington
a remington!model 700!
I guess there are some Tactical requirements for silencers on long guns? As in mopping up s...birds in a confined space. But, Why put one on an Rem 700 ? Does the cost to benefit ratio actually result in the achievement sought. Or, is another firearm or technique more suitable.
Since the most effective voice to speak on the matter (ie.,expert) is the target, we're not going to get a definitive answer. Vector control agents shoot vermin w/ noise controlled apparatus daily. I've never seen one w/ a Rem700. I guess shooting larger targets (coyote or ?) might be the incentive. My personal selection is a hammer or axe/hatchet with an controlled effective range of 12 to 76". The axe/hatchet thing is the variance issue. In the thrusting mode there is a range increase but on target reliability drops abruptly. If you have the money+time+desire go for it. I might have to look in one of my old manuals (how to do stuff) one day.
