This is a new item that appears to be a very cool innoation for the AR-15; anyone have any experience with it?
Is this suppose to replace both the buffer and spring, or just the spring?
If just the spring, what makes this so much better than a regular $5 mil spec spring?
Replaces the buffer and spring assembly for AR type weapons, reults in significant sound abatement i.e. the "twang" from the spring, etc. This is a new item, selling very well, available for 5.56; .308 caliber firearms as well as others I believe. Our customers seem to really like them as does our gunsmith - easy to install - closed, clean design of part and the result is very noticeable.
I can see a market for that. what is the weight of the buffer? I've found that tungsten powder buffer's (like spikes) helps with the noise as you dont get the weights clanking around like you do with traditional H buffers. I personally like the ability to change out different buffers for different applications without changing a whole $125 assembly but thats just me. It actually looks like a good product, i'm just having trouble seeing the price.
I'm sure if you feature it in a multi cam themed marketing email, and drop a hint that the gun grabbing libs are trying to outlaw this nasty buffer assembly you will sell them by the pallet!
YOU'VE DONE THIS BEFORE, LOL !!.......
YES, PRICEY - SELLING WELL THOUGH, ACTUALLY JUST WENT INTO STORE TO CHECK WEIGHT OF BUFFER AND WE ARE ACTUALLY SOLD OUT WITH PEOPLE WAITING FOR MORE.
my budy runs these now on his builds,he loves them.hes used 2 that i know of 308 and 223 platforms.the action feels smoother, and is quiet.
