the creek in the pic is the dividing line for the puyallup unit and the side the elk are on is the mashel unit.unfortunately my lame ass neighbors all signed a no shooting ordinance in this valley!but the elk are around this area!man,i sure wanna shoot that lapua!

That looks like your in the country from the pic, and the neighbors do not want shooting they should head back to the city or California which ever they prefer. I might have to do some looking at the regs and see how the archery season looks over there on that side of the state. I hunt archery because you get to hunt the rut and it is more of a challenge.

the puyallup unit is 2 pt min and the mashel is any elk as far as i can remember.this is a brushy area so it can be limiting to the bow hunter.and with my disability i dont get out and bust brush anymore.i can do the walking but it is the climbing thru brushy shit that gets me!gotta go to bed now so will chat later!
