speaking of sick and demented, you all see that they now have a john wilks booth bobble head doll.. never got the whole bobble head deal, but something about giving him one is sicker than demented 18 wheelers.. assuming of course their giving you all 18.. you ever count em..

just ran 42,000 lbs of roll paper from Tifton GA to Lakeville MN,1300 miles one way,35 mph uphill 75 mph downhill.ran 30,000 lbs up and down the smokies at night in the rain with no jake brake, don't know what that was but that set the hair on my neck straight a few times, and i was being passed by drivers like i was standing still,i actually had to get out a few times to see if my wheels were still turning....

guess that only works on the down hill huh.. ha ha.. when i first moved to Florence i had an apt on the highway across from the Prison.. Highway does a half mile down hill on the way into town, (s to n) and changed, from 55 to 35 right in front of the apt.. that speed limit was always enforced, all the pros knew it, and course noones going to lose a CDL over a 20 over (felony) speediing ticket.. bottom line is jake brakes usta wake me up couple times a night.. Who is it that has them noiw.. GM maybe.. should know.. i think it's on the new duramax's but not sure..

two different settings really, one kind of on,one full on,but they advise against using them in the rain for control purposes, and i'm just green enough to listen to them.Like they say,you can go down a hill to slow a thousand times ,but only once to fast.

no doubt. LBC, any idea what you been hauling? Any good stout crosswinds yet? I'd rather ride a bike in a hard wind than drag a dry van.
