Very nice setup

Now send it to me and I'll paint it a tigerstripe pattern of Contractor Khaki and Overpaid Orange for ya.

because they get to shoot a weapon with some knock down power over the .223 you have to use.

No, I like .223

I could buy a 6.8 upper with my savings right now. But I have plenty of .223 and I can choose ammo other than regular FMJ for my home gun. As for issue weapon, in Iraq I'm happy to use my M4, in Afghanistan, I'd prefer an M14 for the longer range. I would like a 6.8 upper someday, but only after I've gotten all the other guns in my wish list.

at my local police station tomorrow hopefully to shoot it. My brother is working mid-shift tonight, and I am suppose to meet him in the morning to shoot around 0600 if it's all ok.

Runaway

The guys who are at Delta right now (Army Aviation Unit), are doing a mass purchase on DPMS AR15s...from what they told me, the price is 700 dollars, engraved with their unit designation, name, rank etc I think. Anyway, they opened the purchase to whoever. This might be something you could look into doing, a big purchase for Army unit to get some discounted rifles, just a thought.

That'd be cool.

But I don't like people here enough to do something like that. I REALLY need to get back to a deployable post. Fuck TRADOC.
