Targets in front

will be shot with your pistol after you shot the shotgun targets first.

I need to do it

I have to look up a local match. I'm trying to convince my chain of command to let me put together a four man team to go to Ft Benning for the rifle match this spring, sponsored by Bushmaster and Remington. We won't win competing against the guys who shoot all the time, but the chance to make some TDY cash and shoot a match for more points toward my distinguished rating would be nice.

Sounds good

Hope you can get a team to go. There should be some club near you that shoot 3 gun matches.

I've found something

Southern AZ practical Shooters has a USPSA sanctioned action pistol match on March 8. 9mm or larger, enough mags for 30 rds and eye and ear pro. I'm there. Well, assuming Household 6 authorizes it and gives me a kitchen pass. Do you have to be a member of USPSA for these?

USPSA has a class for military. I think they still do. LOL Hope you get to go then. You will love it.

I'm sure the skill level for the military class is about that of one of clint's monkies. The targets are probably five feet across and two feet away with an hour allotted for mag changes. but you have to do lots of pushups first. Servicemembers, as a group, suck at shooting.
