What's it about?

Has anyone read the book (The Post American World)?
I've never heard of it, much less read it.

as the rest of the world is catching up. It's a lightweight treatment of the issues that is like many of those business books like 'One Minute Manager.' It gets excellent reviews from people who really don't know what they are talking about. It fits right in with Obama's philosophy that America ought to be 'just one of the guys' instead of leader of the free world. It takes Global Warming as a given, for example, when that is far from the truth. The world is a lot more complex than this book would lead you to believe and following its percepts is a road to disaster.

Thanks, Schuyler

Glad to find that someone on the site has read it.
Hmm - lightweight book, glib, with little depth. Just right up his alley, isn't it?
When he was campaigning, the story was that he was this near-genius, at the least, a great constitutional lawyer, leader of the Harvard Law Review, a professor of law.
I haven't seen any evidence of it. I thought it was just campaign rhetoric and BS while he was running, and since he's been in office I'm quite sure that it was.
He's certainly a genius at campaigning. He's a hell of a salesman, especially when he's selling himself. Well, he successfully sold himself to the majority of the electorate, but so far he's been unable to manage the government.
