did you know that when cole younger died of old age they did an autopsy on him,he had 18 bullets in his body,11 of them hit him in one gunbattle after the northfield bank robbery, when the posse came upon himhe said" i will fight any two of you hand to hand",being that he had 11fresh wounds in him i think he was rightfully pissed off.

I didnt know that, awesome to learn something new in the history department. Whats this have to do with drug addicts? Are you saying that the nibblers was so high they thought they were invincible? If so I assure you each nibbler I fought was down for the count. I despise drug addicts!

What is exactly that you don't like about druggies? Why are you so violently against them? Did one (or several) of them do something to you, or to someone that you care about?
This is purely out of curiosity - it's fine with me if you don't like them.

Look at the border wars going on right now.
That's what happens because of druggies.
Druggies are a huge percent of the people
who commit burglaries and thefts. They need
drug money.
What happened to snake is common.

I was jumped by 4 guys hyped up on drugs back when I was in high school. It was the worst beating I ever got. I ended up with several bruises,a black eye and 3 broken fingers and all me money was took. Ever since then when I saw a drug user I got on the defensive and said stay back and leave me be or something in that nature and if the warning was not taken the I kicked there ass. I hate kicking peoples ass and I am usally calm natured but in case of the drug addicts I will always be on the defensive.

Thanks for the explanation. You're certainly right for being on the defensive (and not just around druggies, but all the time).
I've carried a gun for so many years that I have to stop and think back to when I didn't. And now that I'm 71, arthritic, diabetic, and with COPD, there's no way in hell I could effectively defend myself if I weren't armed. I'm probably really fortunate that there have been only a very few times I've had to pull it, and only a couple when I've had to use it. Also extremely fortunate that LE wasn't aware of any of it, at least at the time.
One positive thing for me is that I've really learned to control my temper when carrying, and just walk away from trouble if at all possible.

Don't think that I'm defending druggies.
Some statistics recently came out that in Salt Lake City (or maybe it was Salt Lake County), some 80% of the drugs involved hispanics, and most of these were illegal. This is the source of a great deal of the violent crime there. We have some of this trouble down in the small city (about 15000) where I live, about 55 miles or so south of SLC.
Back when I was young and dumb (which are synonyms), back in the 1960's & 70's, I smoked pot, and dropped acid a few times (and really enjoyed the pot), but there was practically no violent crime associated with it then. It was just a lot of fun to get high. When they started handing out long prison sentences for as little as one joint, I quit, and decided that I'd stick to booze. You might have rough hangovers, and get the beer shits, but you did that in your own home, not in a prison cell.

burst britches ..

This is pretty funny.. For some reason i didn't get that you were talking about the 08.. i open this and get all excited.. Shaking my head here.. man was i going to make a big deal about finding you an old Colt 08.. then i read .. duh.. the reason i opened it to start with..

Now im zoning out.. just deleted 20 or so lines of k's and d's..

Like the saw'd off.. had a 20 gauge single that was just bout identical, least in length, mine had a stove bolt thru the broken stock.. BUT.. i had the stock rounded down to a nice pistol grip, and wasco (sp..ha ha.. all of mine is sp..) oil finnish.. Really nice little shottie.. worried me till i got rid of it, but still neat with that bbl cut back..
